Our performance assessment software Maido measures and tracks changes in people’s level of engagement; in other words, degree of attention. The engagement measurement enables you to understand how good the performance of your service or content is to attract people’s attention and how to improve them effectively. Our solution is applicable in various industries, such as education, entertainment, and advertisement.
e-Learning is the new normal for education. Yet, we do not know much about how e-learners respond to the online video lessons because e-learning providers cannot see the faces of their users. Measurement of e-learners’ engagement during a lesson enables providers to assess their content and improve it effectively to achieve better user satisfaction.
Our solution is applicable in physical classrooms as well. Measuring engagement of an entire class and keeping records of it enable teachers to understand how good their performance is and what kind of teaching style is the best to attract their students’ attention.
Our engagement solution can be used to monitor exam takers’ behavior during an online exam. As low level of engagement indicates a risk of misconduct, exam operators can take appropriate action promptly. The camera-based system can strengthen the validity of exam results and reduce the cost of exam operation by replacing human proctors.
Engagement measurement enables you to control a video player with very simple gestures: looking away from the screen to pause a video and looking back at the screen to resume it. This would make it easier to, for example, cook. If you are a person who cooks while watching a recipe video, you don’t need be bothered to press the pause button every time you cut vegetables any more.
How many people paid attention to a digital signage matters a lot to advertisers. Our engagement solution can tell you how many people looked at a signage for how long. This data helps advertises understand the effectiveness of their advertisement. And by comparing multiple locations, you can figure out where is the best to place the ads.
Our engagement solution can enhance the validity of TV audience rating. It can tell you not only whether the TV is on or not but also whether people are actually watching the program, how many people in a family are watching, and which part of the program interests them the most. These data enable creators and advertisers to improve their content and to design better ads.
Our engagement solution will be able to monitor health conditions of elderly people living alone without infringing their privacy. In emergency, the system sends alerts or messages to their family. It can also be used to prevent the elderly from wandering at night.
